After years of providing top of the line personal instruction to thousands of hobbyists and the highest level of fighters in the Portland Metro area, On Target Training PDX has expanded to offer classes focusing on fitness, fighting, and self defense for people of all ages, sizes, and experience levels. Our all level Classes are offered several times a day, six days a week at the World Renowned American Top Team Portland. This World class facility sits at 16,000 square feet in size with three training areas, a fully equipped weight room plus a sauna, ice bath, and everything else you need for your martial arts and fitness journey.

Boxing Classes

Boxing Classes in Portland

Our Boxing classes focus on the proper techniques and theories of the sweet science. Classes are perfect for boxers of all levels and ages with no experience needed. Our coaches develop our fitness clients and boxing hobbyists alike on the same program and system our competitive team is built upon using partner drills, bag work, and solo exercises. Advanced students get custom drills and work tailor made to fit their abilities and to shore up any holes in their game as they prepare to compete while beginners get to focus on the fundamentals of movement, defense, and proper punching form.

 

Cardio Kickboxing Classes


Kickboxing Classes in Portland

Cardio Kickboxing classes are ten rounds of non contact, hard hitting action. Classes focus on burning calories while hitting the bag under the watchful eye of our coaching staff of former and current competitive fighters. Students get all the benefits of a heavy bag work out with punches, kicks, knees, and elbows without any worry that the bag will hit back! This is the perfect class for anyone who is looking to use kickboxing as a way to get fit, have fun, exercise, and reduce stress in their life.

 

Kids Boxing Classes


On Target Training PDX now offers kids boxing classes for children ages 6-12!

Introducing the 92nd Street Boxing Club! Our youth boxing program is about more than just teaching kids to box. We take the same focus on Discipline, personal growth, and self-confidence found in “traditional” martial arts and apply it to our western boxing program.

We have recently expanded our Quick Start Program to include our youth boxing classes. Parents and kids can try a few classes before committing to signing up. Youth Boxers receive gloves, wraps, plus 3 classes for just 24 dollars. click the link below to sign up today!

Our program gets students ready for the ring in a way that is both safe and fun while giving kids who don’t wish to compete the same attention and focus from our world class coaching staff. We use the same principles of technique that our adults learn and package it in a way that is fun and digestible for kids of all ages and skill sets in order to teach them how to move, defend, and punch like a boxer.

Boxing is the perfect way to teach kids of all ages self confidence, discipline, and self respect. We work to Bully Proof our students by teaching them how to deescalate verbally while also knowing how to defend themselves physically.
